4- Are Social Security numbers available for lookup?
Generally not as it would contradict an essential security precaution to make these available to the public. If you discover that your information contains sensitive data you will be able to notify the proper institutions and the request to have the information remove. We ourselves cannot change the information: we can only display it to our members.
5- How current is the data?
We access a variety of different public records sources from our data partners. As you can imagine, some of the sources are courthouses, county and other government offices. As soon as these records go public, our partners make electronic copies and introduce them to our customers.
6. What is the difference between an instant database search and other services?
Our instant database search allows you to pull information based on first name, last name, and date-of-birth or any information you can provide to locate the person you are looking for. The more information you give us, the easier it will be for us to locate the person you are looking for.
Other services will ask you to fill out forms prior to beginning your search. Most of these services do not provide live data, but simply deliver electronic reports.

12- Am I charged if the person I searched for does not have a criminal record?
You are charged regardless of whether the individual searched for has a criminal record or not. We are charged for all searches made in any public records database. Not all individuals have a criminal record. The following explain some instances where an individual would not have an available criminal record from the public records database:
- The person has never been convicted of a crime. (An arrest does not create a criminal record.
The person must be convicted of a crime to have a criminal record)
- The criminal records have been expunged
- The criminal records have not yet been updated in the public records database. (Updates can take several months)
- The criminal records have been sealed and are no longer public. (ie - Minors criminal offenses are sealed and not a matter
of public records)
- The criminal record is in a different state than the state searched.
- Criminal offenses are under a different name/d.o.b
